Materials: Computer, powtoon, online web resources
Technology: Computer, powtoon
Procedures: For this activity, we will be using PowToons to show different cloud formations and precipitation. Students will be creating a digital story.

Students will go to their computers to start their lesson. At the computer, they will go to two links that are presented to them.

Students will click through these two websites learning and reading information as they go through each part.

Students will then create a digital story to showcase their understanding of cloud formations and precipitation.

Students will pick three topics of either cloud formations or precipitation discussed from their websites for their PowToon. Some requirements of the PowToon are:

Will use at least three topics of clouds or precipitation

Give the class a task at the end of the presentation for them to complete.

The video must be between 1 to 3 minutes long

The video does not need to be narrated but must have music

If music and narration are used, the music but be simple and non-distracting

The video will be created on PowToon

The PowToons created will be presented by each student to the class.
Formative Assessment:

Walking around the room while students are working in their stations and asking questions about their PowToon. If they have any questions I will answer them. If they do not understand something, I will help explain it to them.
Summative Assessment:

There will be a summative assessment at the end of the Unit
