Unit: Weather Lesson: Final Review

Materials: Resources, handouts, and notes from previous lessons
Technology: Computers, Inspiration or MindMup.com
Procedures: I will explain to students that we will be making a graphic organizer to organize and review all material for the end of the unit. I will also be putting up notes on the board of basic topics that should be included on their graphic organizer including: clouds, precipitation, weather tools, parts of the water cycle, and different natural disasters.

Students will then log onto laptop and either open Inspiration or go to Mindmup.com

From there students will create a graphic organizer with information from each lesson plan.

The students should include all things that are listed on the board and more from their notes.

Their mind map should be neatly organized and be prepared for by the end of class.

I will look over each to make sure they have all information needed and correct information to study from.
Formative Assessment:

Walking around the room while students are working in on their computers and ask if they have any questions about what should be covered. If they have any questions, I will help explain it to them.
Summative Assessment:

There will be a test on all information covered in this unit plan about weather.
